Crabtree Infants' and Junior School

Making A Difference

Welcome from the Executive Headteacher

If you are reading this, then you are interested in learning more about our fantastic school community! Why is Crabtree so special? We offer every child a well-rounded education. We focus on the ‘whole child’ and love watching children grow, personally, socially and academically. We are very proud of our high-quality teaching and excellent pastoral care.

Every child is unique and we aim to offer something that will inspire and motivate them all – be it academic subjects, sport, music, drama, languages, art or skills such as gardening and cooking. At Crabtree, there is an opportunity for your children to have a go and find out what they enjoy and have a desire to excel in.

We are an inclusive school and, as such, see all children as having the right to succeed. Every child should have an opportunity to reach their own unique goals and follow their dreams.

Crabtree is part of a strong community all of whom are striving to ensure that our children have the best opportunities we can offer. This can be challenging, but as a community we work well together and are always looking for ways we can further improve what we offer.

Our school values – kindness, gratitude, integrity, compassion and courage – are an important part of our ethos and permeate all that we do.

If a child leaves Crabtree happy, confident, resilient, kind, full of an enthusiasm to learn and keen to make a positive difference to the communities in which they live – then we have succeeded.

I have no doubt that you will enjoy becoming part of our fabulous school and look forward to sharing your child’s journey with you.
